The Big Ceramic Pot

In November 2015, Paul made a big ceramic pot at SJSU. The pot is titled “Environmental Councils”. He started with 120 pounds of clay, with the final weight being 80 pounds. It is painted in slip then carved with four landscapes or seascapes with groups of animals. This pot was in a SJSU Ceramics exhibit at the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art (CCACA) in Davis, California in April 2016.
