Backgrounds for Bowls and Plates

Paul bought three yards of Japanese-style Kona Bay Fabrics (in black, red, and blue versions) to use as photography backgrounds for his ceramics. Here are some of the plates and bowls he threw during his SJSU independent study class this summer on the new backgrounds.

1 September 2016 update:
Consensus of feedback preferred the red fabric background and wanted to see a ruler in the photo (rather than a quarter coin) to indicate size.  Here is what that looks like – using cups Paul made last month. More comments are welcome!
